Amanda brings a distinctive, multidisciplinary perspective to interior design, shaped by a career that spans publishing, fashion, and textiles. She began her professional life in publishing, spending 15 years at Simon & Schuster, John Wiley, and The Times Newspapers in London, experience that instilled the organizational discipline, storytelling sensibility, and attention to detail she now brings to every design project. She later founded her own handbag business, where she developed a refined eye for materials, texture, and the balance of form and function. A subsequent move to Hong Kong led her to launch a children's clothing brand, deepening her expertise in pattern, color, and fabric, while extensive travel throughout Asia gave her a lasting appreciation for craftsmanship and cultural design traditions that continues to inform her work today.
In 2014, Amanda relocated to Connecticut, where she currently resides. She further honed her skills at Parsons School of Design, deepening her expertise in interior design. She lives in New Canaan, CT ,with her husband and two children, 10 ducks and chickens ,and three dogs.
